Finally, Twitter is getting a voice tweet features in the coming weeks, currently under development according to the Twitter post. The microblogging and social networking service, Twitter, noted on Wednesday to be testing a new feature that will allow users to tweet using their voice, capturing up to 140 seconds of audio in a single tweet.
This is one of the long-awaited feature, and it looks like a 90% success to arrive as the platform notify that it will be made available for all in the coming weeks.
According to the Twitter blog post, The feature is being made available to a limited number of users on Apple’s iOS platform for now and will be rolled out for more iOS users in the coming weeks.
Users will be able to create a voice tweet using a new “wavelengths” icon on the Tweet composer screen.
How to Use Twitter Voice Note
The procedure on how to make use of the twitter voice tweet hasn’t been disclosed. Also, no specific date has been made on when it will be available to all iOS users, talk more of it coming to Android.
However, the platform is out to make sure that the voice note feature doesn’t increase fake news as they tout to be strict with any reported voice tweet.
“We are working to incorporate additional monitoring systems ahead of bringing this to everyone,” Twitter spokeswoman Aly Pavela told Reuters.
“We’ll review any reported voice tweets in line with our rules, and take action, including labeling, as needed.”
