Twitter have made a global rollout of Pin chat feature in Direct Message (DM) for all devices. The pinned conversation feature is available on iOS, Android, and the web, allowing users to pin chats to top of their inbox. This feature have been in existing on many social media platform like Telegram, Whatsapp, Signal, Facebook messenger and more.
Pinning conversations keeps them at the top of the chat list without any interruption despite flow in of new chats. Among all, the microblogging service unveiled during the announcement on Friday that users can pin up to six conversations at the top of their DM inbox on Android and iOS devices, as well as the Twitter for Web.
Following the Boardcast made on the official handle of twitter on its app, we test run the feature from our end and find it working simultaneously just as it does in other social media platform. Pinning a chat will move it into a separate section called Pinned conversations while the other chats are listed under All conversations.

The feature also allow users to pin a group chat to the top, which helps to make it easier to find a chat with more than one user, especially if you have a very crowded (or active) inbox.
How to Pin Conversation on Twitter DMs

Pinning of a particular chat of your choice is very simple. All you have to do is to tap and hold your desired conversation for the prompt to pop-up with Pin Conversation option on it just as it is on Telegram, Whatsapp and others.
