A thought ran through my head some days ago. For some reasons, I believed I shouldn’t have had thoughts like that anymore but it did come. One shouldn’t think he’s above a thing if they’ve not experienced it. So, what thought crossed my mind?
‘Drum Rolls please…’
“Maybe I should just give up and end it all. It’s soothing to not have to think about how stuff didn’t go as planned.” I guess you can relate to how frustrating it can be to have your life seem like it’s crumbled before your eyes and there’s nothing you can do about it. The day I had this thought I was just tired. I wished I could put an end to everything and experience the pleasure in death were the thoughts in my head that day. Being overwhelmed can be exhausting.
Some days are like that, giving up just seems like the best option. Your thoughts might not be as extreme as mine. Maybe yours was just screaming, crying, and wanting to hear someone tell you everything is going to be alright. Especially during the difficult times of this pandemic where things are going from bad to worse, people are losing their jobs, scared of what’s going to happen next, and people are dying. It’s like the year keeps dishing out dark events month after month and we just want it to end already.
There are dark days, no caps.
When tales of hope become irrational.
Let’s have that bright future now. Really, why can’t we?
‘Cause our hands are weary from ploughing.
So in the now where and when things look good,
Let it be installed on the walls of our rooms and every corner that we turn to that:
In due time, we shall reap if we don’t faint.
Listen, You would be tempted to faint. It happens more often than not when things don’t go as planned and are upside down.
I pray you find a tiny spark of hope to always illuminate those darkest hours. Your greater days are in front of you no matter how deep in shit you are right now. Things would work out fine. It might not be immediately the way you want it but it would work out eventually. Don’t give up. We’re together in this journey to greatness.
No matter how messed up and out of place things seem right now they would get better if you don’t faint. I may not understand the pain you feel right now but I do have my share. Believe me when I say this: You’re a divine being. So, tap into your divine strength and soar.
Love,
Praise.
