Send Content Links from Pc to Android Phone Using “Your Phone Companion”

A great one from Microsoft once again as users can now send content links from pc to Android phone on just two clicks. With this, you don’t need to e-mail contents from your windows to Android Vice verve.

With the help of Microsoft’s Your Phone companion users can automatically share photos, texts and other content from Android to PC while content links can be shared from PC to Android phone.

Although is cool but some requirements are strictly needed in other to make it successful. Doing this requires the use of the native share button on Microsoft Edge and Firefox. 

How to Share Content Links from PC to Android

Open Your Phone Companion and sign in using your Microsoft account, agree to permission requested. By doing this you are 90% set.

To share something like YouTube video, all you have to do is to;

Click on the three dot overflow menu on the right side of the address box.

Tap on share and then Your Phone.

You will receive the aforementioned notification on your phone. Tap on it, and the content will open in the Edge app on the handset.

Well written above noted that you will receive a notification when the link hits your phone once you shared it. All you now need to do is to tap on it and the content will open in your installed Microsoft Edge browser.

This setup will also allow you to send web pages from your desktop to your phone, along with some other content that you are viewing on the desktop Edge browser.
