Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) Receiving Android 9 Pie Update

The South Korea Electronics giant’s Samsung has started pushing out Android 9 Pie update to it’s Galaxy A9 (2019). The smartphone which was launched with Android 8 Oreo is currently receiving system update which upgraded the phone to Android 9 Pie, including the February Android security patch.

Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) Android Pie update has the firmware version A920FXXU1BSC5, and it also brings the Android security patch for February. While the news is being boardcast, it wasn’t made clear if the update has been released in beta version or stable rollout.

This is not the first Smartphone in Samsung Galaxy A series to receive android 9 Pie update as Galaxy A6 (2018), Galaxy A7 (2018) and the Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) have all received the latest version Android Pie respectively.

However, the update is limited to users in Poland for now while there is no word when the Android Pie update will be rolled out for Galaxy A9 (2018) users in other regions.

How To Check/ Download/ Install

If you have Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) and lives in Poland, kindly Go-to Settings > About > System update to check the availability of the update. Users in other regions can also checkon to know when the update arrives in their country.
