While we’re still waiting for the MIUI 12 UI update, Xiaomi has rollout Android 10 update for Redmi Note 7 and 7S respectively. This update is based on MIUI 11, and it is being distributed globally for both China, India and Global rom users.
Redmi Note 7/ 7S Android 10 based on MIUI 11 didn’t bring any further customise design to the phone. However, it strengthens the security as written on it description. How to update Redmi Note 7/7S to Android 10 Based on MIUI 11
After you have downloaded the file, Go to Settings > About phone > System update.
Click on the MIUI logo 7-8 times to access recovery options.
Stay on the same screen, click on the three-dot menu on the top right and go to Choose update package.
Now, navigate to the downloaded file, select the .zip file and hit OK when prompted.
The phone will verify the files and will start to update. It will take a few minutes. The phone will restart on its own in other to complete the installation process.
