List of Vivo Smartphones to receive Android 10 Announced

Again, Vivo has revealed it lists of Smartphones to receive the Android 10 update this year 2020. The schedule, however, is starting with the release of the Android 10 beta update first to this Smartphones.

The company will launch the public beta of its Android 10 based Funtouch OS 10 starting with the Vivo Nex 3 on March 14. It will be open to the first 4,000 users who register between March 6 and March 12.

Other Vivo devices on the list will receive the Android 10 beta update in the next several months. To recall, in December last year, the company rolled out its roadmap for Funtouch OS 10 and stated that the updates will begin from February 2020. However, because of the breakout of Coronavirus, Vivo wasn’t able to fulfill the promise.

Looking at the post being published on the companies official forum, the Funtouch OS 10 update brings a lot of changes and improvement, along with better performance and stability. There are several changes with the Jovi homepage as well as updated driving scene functions, along with a new telephone secretary.

Other changes include customisable lock screen charging animation, exchange rate conversion function in calculator, and a housekeeper service. The post lists the different phones including the;


  • Vivo X27
  • X27 Pro
  • Vivo Z5 series
  • Vivo S5
  • S1 pro
  • Vivo Z3-series
  • Vivo X21-series
  • X21s

Distribution Schedule

Apart from the Vivo Nex 3, other devices like Vivo X27-series will get the update in late March.

Vivo Z5-series will get it in late June, while the Vivo S5 is scheduled to receive the Android 10 beta update in mid-April. Vivo S1, Vivo S1 Pro, Vivo Z3-series, Vivo X21-series, and the Vivo X21s are expected to receive the Android 10 based Funtouch OS in late June.

Unfortunately, no exact dates for any of the update was mention. Furthermore, registration to participate as update beta tester will end in March 12th, while the pushout commerce on 14th March on a random pick.
