This is not the first move of the company into Africa, it entered Egypt in 2017 which it became the fastest brand to gain more than 15 percent market share in the sub-$100.
The arrival of Lava Smartphone company into Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya is a global expansion which will quickly affect the life’s of people positively. Over here in Nigeria, Infinix, Tecno and Itel are the most used smartphone in the market with less competitors.
While making it to the market, Lava has brought “Z” and “Iris” series smartphones and “Champion” series feature phones into the markets. Full of ambition, Lava aims to expand its operations to six more African countries: Uganda, Tanzania, Ivory Coast, Ethiopia, Senegal and South Africa by quarter of 2019.
If you are observant enough, you will notice that the competition between Global networks made data cheaper compared to previous prices. Now, the ball is being passed to smartphone manufacturers as both standing and newly introduced companies will battle for costumers.
