Facebook Messenger desktop app now available for Windows and Mac users. The Facebook Message App for desktop was rolled out on Thursday where it was disclosed to be available for both Apple’s Mac and Microsoft’s Windows. This app allows making Facebook video chats from your computer just Android and iOS.
The Facebook messenger announced the coming of this desktop version last year, and now it was launched at the right time. Most especially during this boredom period.
“Now more than ever, people are using technology to stay in touch with the people they care about, even when physically apart,” Stan Chudnovsky, VP of Messenger at Facebook, said in a blog post.
“Over the past month, we saw more than a 100 percent increase in people using their desktop browser for audio and video calling on Messenger. Now with apps for MacOS and Windows, the best of Messenger is coming to desktop, including unlimited and free group video calls.”
The goal is to put all hand in desk during this work from home period because of the outbreak of Coronavirus. Users can easily be able to video chat with friends as well without the need of Smartphones.
