After introducing Recall messages to its Messenger app, Facebook released “Your Time on Facebook” tool that enables you to counts how many minutes you spent on facebook.
This new feature is designed to help users (you) manage social networking by maintaining time spent per day on Facebook on a particular device for the past week and on an average.
With the “Your Time on Facebook” tool, you can set daily limit of time you want to spend on your facebook app and receive a reminder to stop once you reach the limited time per day. However, the tool comes with shortcuts to notification, news feed and friend request settings.
You can access this feature by going to Facebook’s ‘More’ tab, choose the ‘Settings and Privacy’ option and set ‘Your Time on Facebook’.
For me, this feature is highly recommended for students and workers to enable them minimize the time they spent scrolling up and down on facebook (busy doing nothing).
