Apple’s iPhone 9 aka iPhone SE 2020 official launched after all the rumours. It one of the most affordable Apple phone in the market as they tout in the beginning. It phone maintain the 4.7-inch size that’s available on the iPhone 8 and previous regular iPhone models.
The iPhone 9 (iPhone SE 2020) is powered by the same chipset with iPhone 11 series via Apple A13 Bionic chip. It also runs iOS 13 and comes with a Touch ID fingerprint sensor.

Design & Display
There is 4.7-inch Retina HD IPS LCD display on the iPhone SE (2020) that has 750×1334 pixels resolution and True Tone tech to adjust white balance. It offers a peak brightness of 625 nits. However, it support Dolby Vision and HDR10 and it display panel features Haptic Touch support.
It was built using aerospace grade aluminium and durable glass, it measures 138.4×67.3×7.3mm and weighs 148 grams. It also features an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, which means it can survive immersion in up to 1 metre of water for up to 30 minutes.
Software & Hardware
Like said earlier, it is coupled with A13 Bionic chip. As usual, Apple has not disclose the size of the battery or the the amount of RAM on the iPhone 9 (iPhone SE 2020). However it was equipped with upto 256GB Internal storage. The company claim that it battery stays up to 13 hours of video playback time, and 40 hours of audio playback time.
Furthermore, the iPhone 9 support fast charging, charging up to 50 percent in 30 minutes with an 18W charger. It also comes with Wireless charging support using the Qi wireless charging standard.

The new iPhone has a single 12-megapixel camera sensor (f/1.8 aperture + OIS) at the back along with a LED True Tone flash with Slow Sync. It offers 4K video recording at up to 60fps, and Smart HDR for photos. There is a sapphire crystal lens cover protecting the rear camera.
iPhone SE (2020) offers a Portrait mode, using computational photography enabled by the Neural Engine on the Apple A13 Bionic SoC. There is an 7-megapixel camera at the front, with an f/2.2 aperture that boost the video calls and Selfies.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Wi-Fi calling, NFC, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a Lightning port. Sensors available include Touch ID button that is protected by a sapphire crystal. Others are accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, three-axis gyroscope, and a proximity sensor.

The prices of the new iPhone SE in US starts at $399 (roughly N154,000) for the 64GB model, $499 (roughly N193,000) for 128GB model, and $549 (roughly N212,000) for the 256GB model. Pre-orders begin from 5pm PDT on Friday, April 17, and it will go on sale from Friday, April 24 in the US.
